Encircling Top Flange with Mechanically Structured Keys:
Constructs a unique platform that evenly distributes the forces exerted on the plugs. Designed to withstand extreme loading well beyond that of other fin systems. The unique slots around the plugs top flange act as Mechanical Keys that lock the S-Plugs into the surfboard, ultimately preventing the plugs from rotating or releasing.
Minimal footprint. Minimal Weight:
The S-Plug has superior strength & hold whilst been lighter & consuming less board area than Fin Boxes such as Futures & Lokbox. The S-Plug therefore allows the tail of the board to flex naturally, creating a faster and a more responsive surfboard that also adjusts throughout turns & to the curve of the wave.
Elongated Fin Slot:
Up to 5mm fin adjustability. The Shapers Fin Installation Dots are visible on your board – use these to initially position your fins. Align the back tip at the base of your fin with the Shapers Dot. Adjust side and centre fins to fine-tune the performance of your board if required. E.g. moving the sides and centre fin further apart will assist in lengthening turns or positioning fins closer together may help to generate more pivot. Additionally, fins forward to loosen or fins back to tighten.
Unique Base Flange:
An additional Mechanical Anchor that prevents the plugs from pulling out or pushing into the foam.
No More Sinking Decks:
Due to superior strength & hold the S-Plug is not anchored with resin to the surfboards deck like FCS plugs. Anchoring results in weak areas on the surfboard deck that are prone to sinking.
